    1-kg contraband seized in Fazilka

    Fazilka, August 22

    Two days after 4 kg of heroin was seized near the international border (IB) in Fazilka sector, the jawans of second battalion of Border Security Force and the state police in a joint operation seized 1 kg of heroin near the border outpost in Fazilka today.

    A source said some Pakistani smugglers had allegedly tried to smuggle the contraband into India, but their attempt was foiled by security forces.
