Two days after having met the family of six-year-old Tanda rape-murder victim, Punjab State Women Commission chief Manisha Gulati today said even though it was an unfortunate incident, it could not be compared with the Hathras episode.

AAP MLAs seek public hanging

Supporting the state government on the incident, she said: "Punjab can never be as unsafe as UP and Bihar. Our state police arrested the accused in no time and are working on expediting the delivery of justice to the victim." Gulati said: "If we tell our girls about good and bad touch, we also need to educate our boys on moral issues. We need to stand against vulgarities and rape scenes in movies and songs."
