Faridkot, November 22
Amidst rumours of a few unscrupulous persons collecting money from candidates guaranteeing them ward attendant jobs in the Health Department, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), which is conducting written examination for the job on November 28, warned the candidates against such elements today.
“There are 1.5 lakh candidates for 800 posts of ward attendant. We want to inform all candidates that a few unscrupulous persons are trying to fleece them by saying that their selection can be made by paying money to some officials,” said Dr Raj Bahadur, Vice Chancellor, BFUHS.
“We have made a public appeal to all candidates that whosoever is trying to fleece them with such promises, his name can be intimated to the university authorities, so that we can take action against them,” the VC said. — TNS
